The project was a revamp of the old De Branders Apartment Building situated on the boardwalk of Hartenbos Beachfront. The project brief consisted of extending the existing balconies, adding 92 braai places and re-configuring the exposed visible services on the old building. The curves of the building was enhanced with new beams and glass balustrades to give the building a complete new modern façade. The original concept of a wave was captured in the new design and features of the building.
